Blood donation
The Sports Club of the Debug group of Companies organized a blood donation campaign under the theme of ‘Give Blood & Save a Life’, on the 14th March 2012 many employees of the Debug Group came forward as donors for the campaign. This is an annual campaign that is done with the aim of saving lives.
House repairs for staff’s damaged houses during floods
The Debug Group of Companies has conducted regular medical health camps during the past five years. This year too, the annual medical camp in collaboration with Certis Lanka Home Nursing Pvt Ltd and Asiri Surgical Hospitals was successfully held on the 27th May and 10th June for all staff members at the Debug head office premises .
General health checkups and detailed test such as fasting blood sugar level,Blood Pressure,BMI ( Body mass index),Lipid Profile, Eyesight and Vision and a variety of tests were carried out. This was followed by consultations, and treatment advice on the 28th of May and 11th June 2015 consecutively.
Program to help Internally Displaced People (IDP's) : APRIL/MAY 2009
To ease the suffering of internally displaced persons
conflict and facing unbearable difficulties, our staff decided to put our own CSR plan into action. Employees of the group rallied together and contributed generously to this fund. With the amount collected, suitable items were purchased and distributed among the IDP's.

Boats deployed during floods
Boats were sent out with dry rations and foods to help people affected by the floods. This was an humanitarian initiative carried out by the Debug Group of Companies.
Flood Relief Program - 22nd JAN 2011
In response to the disasters caused by the floods due to the heavy rain in January 2011, the Sports Club of the Debug Group initiated a flood relief program. With the assistance of the local government agents, 300 identified flood victim families belonging to two villages in Baticaloa District were provided with a flood relief pack
Maharagama
The Debug group of companies handed over a cheque for the sum of Rs 25,000 on behalf of the Group in 2014 . This was presented to the president cancer care association, Dr Samadhi Rajapakse while members of the sports club were also present.
Dr Samadhi president cancer care association and doctor at the cancer hospital maharagama highlighted the different types of
cancers and the causes for this much dreaded disease.He appreciated the donation as this would be utilized to supply Xeloda
to patients( cancer drug that can be taken at home and need not be administered at the cancer hospital).He said that this
would make a cancer patient carry on with their day to day activities while freeing many beds at the hospital thus making way
for new patients on the waiting list.
